I was inspired a while ago by the sandwich from Mahar Drygoods, so I decided to make my own version just in case Estella ever comes to me saying, "Mom, you know what I want for Christmas? A fake sandwich!" I figure this way I'm ahead of the game. Naturally it comes with baby carrots, a chocolate chip cookie (grain sweetened chips, of course), and veggie bologna. My poor child, even her pretend play will be healthy...by the time she's old enough to speak, she'll be begging for Vienna Sausages and Pork Rinds!
